New Technology Resource Teacher on board

I started using United Streaming I don't even know how long ago and have always been a fan. Last year my district (San Francisco Unified) bought a subscription for everyone! Yeah!

Since my job is to help teachers at my middle school use technology, DiscoveryEducation is one of my favorite tools. When I found out about Den, I thought I should give it a try. To tell you the truth, I have not been a very good social networking user, in spite of the fact that I consider myself pretty high tech.

So, I'm looking to participate in social networks. I tried MySpace with my niece. Not much there for me, it seems. I've signed up on Plaxo, but don't quite know what to do with that either. This looks like a place where I might find a social network where I can socialize. I'd like to hear about social networks you use.

Looking forward to it.

Connie

Connie,

The first place I learned about social networking was www.edtechtalk.com.  There is always happening there to interest educators.  They are very welcoming and willing to help you get started.  I have found many new friends that I will treasure forever.

Come on over and join the fun!

As a media specialist I integrate technology into most of my lesson.  I created a wiki space for my students to use for book chats and talks.
